DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT?
With most appointments we can typically have vehicle ready same day.
DO YOU OFFER A SHUTTLE SERVICE?
Yes! We drop off anywhere within a 2.5 mile radius. Additionally, we offer Uber rides and loaner cars for repairs that are going to take more than a day.
WHAT MODEL OF CARS AND TRUCKS DO YOU WORK ON?
We work on all makes and models of vehicles. With the exception of Mercedes Benz, Jaguar, Corvette, Porsche and other exotic brands (Lotus, Maserati, Alfa Romeo, etc).
WHERE DO I LEAVE MY KEYS FOR NIGHTLY DROP OFF?
Please leave your keys in our night drop box located at our front door. It is available 24/7.
CAN I USE VIKING AUTOMOTIVE INSTEAD OF MY DEALER?
Yes! 100%. It is a common belief that all maintenance work must be done by the dealership to withhold a vehicle's warranty. This is not true. Dealerships are required by law to honor your warranty regardless of where the maintenance work was performed.
The only time we recommend using the dealer is for Recalls and Air Bag Repair & Factory Warranty work that is provided at no charge to the customers.
DO YOU DO OIL CHANGES?
Yes, absolutely. Many of our current clients began their relationship with us by having a simple oil change performed. This allowed them to get a feel for the integrity and quality of our business without a large repair risk. We would love to start a relationship with you in the same way!
CAN I BRING MY OWN PARTS FOR YOU TO INSTALL?
Unfortunately, we can only warranty parts that we source through our own suppliers. As a result, we are unable to conduct a non-warranty job by installing externally-supplied parts.
WHAT QUALITY OF PARTS DO YOU USE?
1. HIGH QUALITY. The same type of part can have a wide range of quality options, ranging from high-quality OEM level (i.e. dealer parts) to low-quality, imitation level (i.e. eBay parts). Many parts stores offer this entire spectrum as well, typically designated by the categories of "Good, Better, Best." All of the parts at Viking Automotive are of OEM or better quality!
DO YOU DO PRE-PURCHASE INSPECTIONS?
For vehicles that are only 2-3 years old, the best, most comprehensive inspection is found at the OEM dealerships. The dealership will review the vehicle for any open recalls and/or technical service bulletins and typically complete those items free of charge during the same visit. This is not to say that an independent shop cannot do your pre-purchase inspection. Rather, it is simply more efficient to bring the vehicle to the dealership to have everything done at the same time.
WHAT YEAR RANGE OF CARS DO YOU WORK ON?
Due to the lack of parts and diagnostic information, we can no longer service vehicles produced before the year 2001. If your vehicle is older than 20 years, please give us a call and we can provide you a referral based on your vehicle.
DO YOU ACCEPT EXTENDED WARRANTIES?
YES! We do provide work for repairs covered by most Extended Warranties. Let us know you have an extended warranty and we will contact them to see if repairs are covered, prior to starting the repairs.
